Then: Gojo Satoru escapes the Prison Realm and disappears without a trace.
Later: Fushiguro Megumi is sent to apprehend Gojo. He disappears. No one really knows what happened, but to the Council of Elders, it's a perfect excuse to hunt down Gojo Satoru - after all, no one is going to be able to disprove it if they frame him for his student's murder.
Now: no sorcerer dispatched to bring Gojo Satoru to justice has been heard from again, and no one even knows if the charges leveled against him are true. But Iori Utahime is certain that they aren't.
Later: Gojo Satoru may be a pest, but he's not a killer. And Utahime is going to prove it.

When Yuuta thinks he’s seeing the same person he killed weeks ago, he knows his brain is really tired since he’s sure he had cut that girl deep enough to kill her. It takes a blow to his face to realize that the person in front of him had the same face as the other one and has managed to make his nose bleed from the strength of that kick.
She was going with the intention of killing him. Yuuta sniffed the blood pouring out of nose before curing himself.
“Didn’t I kill you last month?” he asked the girl, who spun a cursed tool around her body with a murderous glare.
“That was my sister.”

Yuta took a large gulp of the cold drink, he could feel his body cooling from the vigorous training. He needed to remind himself to not force his body like that ever again.
“I’ll remember that. Who is she again?” another gulp.
Satoru gave him a solid look, getting cut off from the question. “Your fiancee from the Zenin clan, the deal I signed with them in exchange for a truce between our families.”
Yuta spat all the liquid from his mouth with such force.
“W-What?!” he wheezed, looking like his cousin just said the joke of the century. Nah, he had no memory of signing up with this.
“But aren’t we enemies?!”
