Later that night, she browses the internet for possible ideas, tabs open on an assortment of wigs and dresses and boots and accessories. It would probably be easier to simply go as a princess or Sailor Moon, but Yosano Akiko doesn’t half-ass things, ever.
After much deliberation, she decides to go for something simple and classy, yet somewhat recognizable. The memory of a TV female spy surfaces when she comes across a bright red full-length trench coat that’s a dead-ringer for her signature outfit.
Akiko’s technically a detective by profession anyway; might as well dress the part at least once.
