Phainon’s heart plummeted—then immediately shot upward again when Mydei leaned in, lips brushing the corner of his mouth.
“Although,” Mydei added softly, breath warm against Phainon’s cheek, “I might need a closer look.”
Phainon swallowed. Hard. “A—A closer…?”
Mydei smirked. “At home,” he murmured, letting the shirt fall. “In our bed.”
Phainon has a crisis.
And honestly? It might be Mydei’s fault.
