Summary
Illari lives on the outskirts of Runasapi, returning to her home after battling with survivor's guilt. As she strives to be the last protector her people despite her trauma and doubt, she is approached by a curious Doomfist, who asks for her aid in a Talon led raid on Vishkar HQ, as they hold the key to restoring her peoples way of life, lest it fall into the hands of Moira, who has a sinister history with Illari's people.
But unbeknownst to Illari, Doomfist is after a secret locked deep within Vishkar, the location of a mysterious facility that houses something for Talon to control, one that Illari is imperative to unlocking the means of its use.
Furthermore, the Reaper struggles to contain his former self, Gabriel Reyes, who sees Illari as vulnerable and in need of a guardian in this new and hostile environment.

Sombra wondered if she might be doomed when she decided she needed to help Siebren escape Talon. It wasn’t like she hadn’t helped someone to get out before. But that was one field medic, not a top agent capable of fucking about with gravity. One who is rarely unobserved. And who’s been so thoroughly manipulated he doesn’t even think he needs to get out.
While having to walk the fine line between giving Talon enough of what they wanted from her and subtly defying their goals in her continuous attempts to unravel… well, that wasn’t important. At least, not right now.
But hey, no biggie, she’s survived a lot worse than a bit of pressure, she’s got this. It would just take some very careful planning. Besides, he didn’t deserve to be here. The risk was more than worth it, she decided.
Sombra knew she was doomed when one top agent became three.
