    Summary

    Endeavor expected great things from his golden child, and he ensured that those expectations were realized in the harshest ways possible. It sure was lucky, then, that Shouto was not that child. Endeavor had no idea what to do with him and his latent quirk, so Shouto had no expectations put on him at all. Shouto didn't feel all that lucky, though.

    Midoriya Izuku, on the other hand, was faced with a crippling expectation: nothing. He would say nothing, do nothing, be nothing. In his darker moments, he would admit that it made sense. He, as a quirkless child born to a family tree that hadn't seen a quirkless person in generations, shouldn't exist. So of course everyone expected him to, essentially, not exist. It didn't seem to matter that Izuku felt differently.

    And then there was Shinsou Hitoshi. Born to be a villain, tossed around foster homes, and generally considered trash by society, Hitoshi felt pressure from all kinds of crazy and contradictory expectations. His solution? To tell everybody to screw off and let him figure out his own damn life. It only sort of helped.

    Fun things are bound to happen when they meet.
