Besides the grief there was the worrying, we were running away from something and maybe they found us, found her. Actually they did find me if they found her, but they chose to hurt her, they could have waited for me to go back home, they could have taken us both but they didn’t. I remember my mother said when she was having a particularly bad night, she had meds in her, I knew she wasn't going to remember anything the next day, so I asked boldly “who are we running away from, mother?” she looked at me, as if I had my head was going to explode “From you”.

Summary
The car stops, I leave my eyes off the woman who raised me after my mom's death and look at the front window of the car, a white house is in front of me, but the energies of the people inside are wrong, and I realize what are they, I know about vampires, they usually don’t care about anything outside their race and I know that messing up with vampires is a stupid idea. Apparently, the mind-reading abilities of grandma still works when you are in an incorporeal form, because she says “I know, but it’s our only hope at the moment, and the head of the clan owes me a favor. You can trust them.” I rely on this old woman with all my being and power, but I still want to shake her head and scream a huge what the fuck as the front door opens, and a blond guy stops at the door, I would say he looks confused, however his face is as cold as I imagine his skin is.
This is a draft, I'll continue this story, but I had new ideas and is going to change a lot, so I'll just start all over.
