Back then Hubert had made it his mission to make every single noise Ferdinand made a reason to make a snide comment, which would then turn into a full-blown argument. He remembered scoffing when the noble had stated that his voice would make a Pegasus dance with joy.

Summary
Hubert has a secret. He has a stash of love letters he writes addressed to Ferdinand whenever he feels overwhelmed by his feelings for him. He never sends them though, but instead keeps them stashed away in hiding. However, a mistake is made, and the letters are accidentally sent. To which, Hubert tries to hide from confronting his emotions towards Ferdinand, but ultimately fails to do so.
(AKA: Hubert stupidly has the letters delivered to Ferdinand by one of his associates. Then, he tries to hide away in his study, but Ferdinand comes bursting in to address the unspoken affections between them.)

Summary
Ferdinand von Aegir has budding talent in almost any weaponry. If he puts his mind to it, he can study and learn the skills necessary for wielding nearly anything. Except for Magic. His talent is Magic is practically nonexistent. Yet, despite all his other skills, Duke Aegir refuses to allow his son to not learn proper Magic use. Hence, he hires one of the most renowned mages in Enbarr: Hubert von Vestra. If there is anyone who can tutor Ferdinand, it has to be him.
So, Hubert begins the hassle of trying to train Ferdinand in the ways of Magic. But along the way, will he find himself being enchanted by the young Aegir heir?
( AKA: Ferdinand had parental issues because his father is a jerk to him and never gives him validation. Yet, when Hubert comes around, he finally feels appreciated and starts to develop a crush on the suave, handsome mage. Through training shenanigans and heartfelt bonding, Hubert finds himself falling in love as well. )

Summary
Returning from a pointless mission, Hubert is tired and frustrated at his lack of leads and intel on TWSITD. He is battered from the battle, and his heart feels heavy from uncertainty and the loss of his soldiers' lives. Yet, when he arrives back to his quarters, Ferdinand is waiting for him. He goes through his ritual of welcoming him back home by tending to his exhausted partner with gentle affection and special care towards his scarred hands.
(AKA: Ferdinand gives Hubert's hands lots of gentle love and care, tending to those stained fingers as they deserve to be cherished after all the rough treatment they have been through.)

Summary
Ferdinand is the young heir to the Aegir estate, and his father has high expectations for his son. He has raised him with "tough love" throughout his life, knowing he was his only hope to keep his power and land within the family name. To assure his son is well cared for and guarded throughout his adolescence, Ludwig hires the best upcoming servant from the Vestra line. But there is an immediate tension between Ferdinand and Hubert von Vestra.
Hubert finds himself too good to be wasting his time and effort on the Aegir heir. Alas, he is forced to dedicate his life and service to Ferdinand. The two gradually grow up together, perhaps learning more about one another and finding complicated feelings along the way. Feelings that were not allowed between men of their opposing statuses.
(AKA: Hubert hates working under Ferdinand, but he is a dedicated servant despite his bitterness. Yet, as more feelings are uncovered and the secret truths come to light, the two begin to gradually fall in love with one another.)
