Summary
Megumi—who had nothing to do with his battles, who never should’ve been in danger. Megumi never made it back home.
If Yuuji could switch places with Megumi—if he could be the one burned and buried, the one being mourned—he would do it in a heartbeat. Megumi’s life never should’ve been on the table. That burden was Yuuji’s to bear, and Yuuji’s alone.

Summary
In the center of the room, in the shadow left by Yuuji’s body, the floor ripples. A black hand laced with deep blue tendrils reaches out of it. Yuuji frowns.
“Hey,” he says softly. He stands and turns fully toward the shadows. The hand reaches out further, revealing an arm. It claws at the floor. “Don’t waste your cursed energy right now.”

Summary
When Yuuji wakes up, the first thing he’s met with is a pair of the most gorgeous green eyes he’s ever seen.
His eyes widen as he finally takes in his surroundings. He’s on some rooftop, alone, save for Fushiguro. Scraps of his suit circle him. A few feet away, a piece of fabric sits, a giant, blazing, condemning spider logo in the center.
He looks back up at Fushiguro, who had since steeled his expression.
And those green eyes stare into Yuuji’s. And Yuuji isn’t wearing a mask. And Fushiguro knows that he’s Spider-Man.
“Oh my god,” Yuuji gasps. “Oh my god.”
—Or: Yuuji wakes up to the prettiest boy he's ever seen, and the knowledge that said boy has just figured out his secret identity.
