Summary
Eldari has dominated Astarion’s thoughts since his first taste of her blood. Having awakened something within him he was unaware existed, he begins to crave her constantly. Driven to distraction, he is perplexed by her empathy and compassion and increasingly desperate with yearning he barely understands. Despite an incredible night together, she insists they should remain friends without further complication. Astarion is not prepared to let her go that easily...
The story is set in Act 1, is written from Astarion’s POV, and covers the second night Astarion and Eldari spend together.

Summary
This could be a disaster, he thinks to himself, and not only because of the imminent threat of death hanging above our heads. No matter how much he would like to, he doesn't know how to be with someone. He has no idea what they are doing or what comes next, but that's something to worry about in the future - he was never good at planning anyway. Instead, he decides to focus on what he has now. And now, he has her, he has this.
