Summary
It’s sweet in a way, seeing someone as powerful and mighty as Vanta shake and crumble like a house of sticks at the mere idea of anything beyond kissing and hand holding. To Zali’s knowledge, he was Vanta’s first everything. First kiss, first partner, first date, and now… first sexual encounter, if this can be considered one.
It took quite some time for Vanta to stop nervously asking for permission every time he wanted to kiss Zali, or hold his hand, or touch him at all. But progress is still progress, and sometimes, it’s in the form of being able to make out without hyperventilating to the point of nearly passing out.
Most of the time, at least.Or: After some prolonged hesitation from both sides, Zali and Vanta try being more intimate for the first time.
