  Summary

After watching Roche degrade in front of their eyes, Barret dreams of Cloud draped in black and stumbling away from him without recognizing his own name. When Barret wakes up to find Cloud and his sword gone, it isn’t anything too surprising, but when he realizes Cloud’s shoes are still beside the wide open door he rushes out into the storm, afraid he’s already too late.
