"Who are you?" Lando dared to ask, wary.
The boy watched him, curious as well. Somehow, it seemed, they were both facing something different from what they were used to and were something new that they were tempted to explore, to find a reason for their existence and what builds it up.
"Oscar" is all the other boy uttered.
Lando noticed, closer, that his ears were pointed and twitched in the wind.
"Like my snowman?" he asked again.
The boy simply nods. Then everything becomes confusing for Lando, because his little mind understands many things but those things are often limited.

When Oscar was asked if he had ever been in love, he would say yes. Because he had fallen in love with the fussy, sassy Brit who was his teammate. The same one who had delighted everyone in the big Papaya family, the same one who had been there for him on his way to the top.

Summary
Lando loved weddings.
He wasn't sure when his affection for them began, not that he'd ever been to so many weddings in his life so he could be a fan of the excitement that washed over him every time an invitation crossed his mailbox.
Not that Lando was a hopeless romantic, for his level of romance was reduced to zero and his relationships failed significantly at every possible opportunity within two months of their start. However, he was in 'love' with love.
He also didn't like to think of marriage as a one-sided thing that consumed your life to the point of being no one else besides your partner; and that's why Lando was scared to be greeted with the idea of marriage.
Lando actually loved weddings, but he did not love the idea of Oscar getting married.
