Nini takes a deep breath, and very delicately turns her head to the side as much as she can to try and see for herself. The angle is bad, so all she can really see is the top of Myki’s head. Nini’s jacket has slipped down and off her shoulder, though, and she’s ninety-nine percent sure that what she feels on her bare skin is Myki’s cheek resting there, gentle exhales skittering across Nini’s upper arm.
