It was the way Klavier would openly flirt with him - it was softer. It had meaning behind it, at least as much that Apollo could guess. The way he talked to Trucy or his fans was different, and he most certainly didn’t call any of them any pet names like he did Apollo. While Klavier had toned back the “Liebling”s and “Schatzi”s, they were still there when the prosecutor didn’t catch himself fast enough. Or even in his tone alone when he talked to him.
And then it hit Apollo Justice. Oh, it hit him hard.
