“I guess I can’t hide my love for you,” Dream says, and he looks back at George. “I also won’t apologise for it, because I haven’t been trying very hard.”
George twitches his lip, clearly trying to hide a smile and failing. “Yeah, I know you haven’t,” he says, leaning in closer. “You’re taking me home to meet the family, baby. That’s very telling.”
God, Dream thinks, I’m so fucking in love. And he whispers, “I couldn’t keep it in.”
George’s breath ghosts across Dream’s lips, and he presses a kiss right to the corner, almost gracing his cheek. “Mhm,” George murmurs, “I know.” And he kisses Dream’s neck. “You’re lucky you’re so cute.”
[Or, George is finally home for Christmas, and he and Dream are in love.]
