Summary
Two years after twenty-year-old Lena Ezra and her family have been sent to the Auschwitz death camp, Lena is selected to be a subject in the Nazi human experiments at Freiwelt. At Freiwelt, the infamous Nazi science division, HYDRA, force countless Jewish people, political prisoners, homosexuals, and Romas to undergo excruciating procedures designed to create "the perfect weapon," the Nazi party's last hope at winning the World War II.
While there, Lena uncovers the fate of the camp and its prisoners as the Allied powers push further towards Germany. Desperate to save herself, Lena plots an escape route. With help from her five friends, and the mysterious, metal-armed American named James Barnes, she plans a camp-wide escape that she can only hope will succeed. Will she find her liberation? Or will she find death?

Summary
Lena Ezra never asked for any of this to happen to her. She had never asked to be taken to an experimentation camp at the height of World War II to be genetically altered; she had never asked to be given superhuman abilities; she had never asked for her family to be taken away from her, and used against her as a weapon; she never asked to fall in love with a man who would eventually become the world's most ruthless killer.
But the past is in the past, and there is nothing for her to do but decide on how she approaches to resolve these conflicts. Follow Lena as she uncovers the full extent of her abilities, befriends some of the "World's Mightiest Heroes", and works to take down the organization that ruined her life so many years ago.
