"Our adventure has been a mere ten years," Frieren said. Those words stuck with Himmel through the evening, as they watched the meteor shower and made plans to meet again in 50 years.
"Hey, Frieren," he finally dared to say. "Could I still travel with you for a bit more, another ten or twenty years? There's more of the world I want to see, and if you don't mind, I'd love to try learning magic now that we've got an era of peace. Making a field of flowers would be beautiful, right?"
"I've never had a student before... Well, let's try it out for a bit and see," Frieren agreed.
