"I mean, friends kiss, right? Max and El do it all the time." Mike said, his gaze bouncing across Will's features frantically as if he was looking for his next line somewhere between the freckles that lay on the bridge of Will's nose. Will tried to ignore just how often Mike's eyes fell down onto Will's spit-slicked lips.
Will wasn't sure if they were going to overlook the fact that Max and El have actually been dating for almost a year now. But Mike didn't mention it, so neither did Will. Instead, Will inched his face a little closer, so close that their noses brushed and he could practically feel the heat radiating off of Mike's flushed cheeks.
"Yeah, friends kiss," Will said simply.
"Yeah?" Mike asked.
"Yeah," Will confirmed. Mike nodded, almost dumbly. His eyes stayed steady on Will's lips now.
"Okay." Mike shuddered.
"Okay," Will whispered.They kissed again.
Logline: While home alone in Mike's bedroom, Will and Mike realize just how much they've been hiding from each other and themselves. Who knew their deepest secrets were hidden behind their lips and beneath their clothes?

Will is cut off as the boy next to him pulls him in to a kiss. Surprised, still kind of thinking he’s dreaming, Will pushes back into it as he wraps his hand behind the back of Mike’s neck.
“~mike…” Will breathlessly mutters as their kiss becomes more passionate, tongues colliding. Every rational thought goes out the window. Will doesn’t even begin to think about how Mike even got here as he reaches for his knight costume. Mike immediately understands and pulls off the metal garments, exposing his chest.
Still in the dark, Will can barley see Mike so he reaches a hand out to his chest. He feels Mike’s pecs. His muscular arms? His abs?
Will begins to feel a pit in his stomach. This isn’t Mike.

Summary
Was…was Mike’s heart reacting to Will?
Mike isn’t looking at him. He’s staring hard at his cards as if he hasn’t seen them before, biting his inner cheek, and accentuating his dimple. As Will looks closer, he notices the pink shade spreading over the shell of Mike’s ear, the red emerging from the black curls like a rose sprouting from the earth.
Was Mike still nervous around him? Hadn’t they resolved that?
Will decides to test it. He leans onto the bed and rests a hand on Mike’s uninjured thigh, his thumb swiping side to side over the covers, and waits.
Mike's leg twitches into his hand, and barely a moment passes before the beeps speed up again, a rapid climb from steady to sprinting, and when Will looks, the blush has spread to Mike’s cheeks, his eyes unmoving and glued to his cards.
Oh. Will gapes at the monitor, the green spiking line. That's not discomfort.
Oh. He can have some fun with this.
Or: Mike, while protecting Will, gets attacked by a demogorgon. Guilt-ridden, Will stays with him in the hospital, forcing them to resolve the awkward air that has surrounded them for months, and, along the way, uncover some truths.
