Dying the second time hurt more than the first. When you're the Master of Death- the bite of a werewolf is much more than growing furry once a month- especially when two Werewolf Gods advise him they have 'chosen' him as their new Alpha of Alphas. Something they haven't been able to do since a pesky wizard Myrddin bound their reach.
Harry's a bit put out at being another chosen anything -- and his vision isn't fixed even though he's been bitten to hell and back and a bloody werewolf? Bollocks!
None of that tops the fact that when his best friend, and secret crush, Hermione Granger walks in his new instincts go a bit bonkers and he tents the hospital sheet. Can a werewolf die of embarrassment?

Hermione perked up as the doors opened, keen to see if the rumours that swirled around the train were true, that Harry Potter had been found. As head prefect of Gryffindor house, she was looking forward to seeing if the supposed chosen one would be a member of her house, let alone all the other little ones to be sorted who she would also be responsible for.

Hermione saw herself gently brushing a loose strand of hair back behind Harry's ear, she saw herself touching Harry's flat stomach saw herself laying kisses all over her body. Saw her moving Harry's arm away from her chest so that she could make the girl whimper.
