“What does it feel like?” Grimm asked, his voice sounding strained.
“It burns,” I ground out, taking a heaving breath. I opened my eyes, pulling my arms out from around him. I moved my shaking hand to his face, feeling his cheek under my hand. He felt so cold compared to the inferno that was blazing its way under my skin.
Grimm’s eyes widened as he felt my hand moving across his face. “What can I do, Loveage? How can I help?”
A moment or two passed in silence. The heat felt like it was crawling up and down my body, and I didn’t entirely feel like myself when I said: “Kiss me.”
A re-write of Chapter 23 of Sorcery and Small Magics by Maiga Doocy where, instead of finding a way to rid Leo of the curse, Sybilla's counterspell makes the effects of the love curse worse. Leo needs to be closer to Grimm than ever.
