Summary
Written as a birthday present for Nineveh_uk and inspired by her doing dreadful things to Peter and Harriet on their honeymoon. This starts at the point at which they arrive at the hospital with Bunter feeling not quite his usual infallible self.
There is very little Peter and lots of Harriet. I could have put Harriet-Peter-Bunter under Relationships but it would have given rather the wrong impression. There is also police incompetence, wilful disregard of the speed limit and handwavey chemistry.

Marjorie Phelps takes a risk. Harriet finds a figurine.
Familiarity with The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club extremely useful but probably not absolutely essential. It is all there in the text, I have just gathered it together and pointed at it. Totally worksafe despite the title.

Summary
Talboys. Set late in World War II following Peter's death. Consistent with Sayers canon up to the end of the Wimsey Papers but going AU at some point after 1940. There is sex happening but no explicit revelations of the non-marriage bed. Warning for Helen.
Credit for the "He's called Mervyn" line goes to Nineveh_uk, as does the subtitle "Helen made us do it".
