“Are you cold, Wonie?” Seungcheol asked, fumbling for Wonwoo’s hand, then intertwined his fingers together with the omega’s. “You don’t want to get out, so let me get into this darkness with you. We can be here together. Isn’t it better?”
Without a single idea of what he wanted or felt scared of, the boy kept crying in the leader’s arms. With his lungs filled by the scent of peppermint, the omega gradually found his heart cheering at the familiarity, as if he had lived without what he was used to for decades. However, this kind of darkness was not the one he had always known. Wonwoo had never known he could ever have another person jump in together with him, not to demand him to get out, but to share this space together with him even though this thing was never meant for two people.
Could anyone understand how scary it was to see nothing but the only moment he was living in? If Wonwoo died one day, would he be allowed to choose not to die in loneliness? Could someone be his companion solely for that moment? Or Seungcheol would accompany him all the way to hell?

Mingyu drowns the deep voice of his secretary out as he retrieves the letter of resignation. He pauses to look at it, actually look at it, and proceeds to let out a bark of laughter.
Secretary Jeon pauses his dialogue to stare at his boss, who was bending over with high-pitched laughter. Before he could inquire what the joke was, however, Mingyu walks towards him with the envelope in hand, and roughly rips the the piece of stationery in two.
“No.” He looks at a wide-eyed Wonwoo with a smug expression. “My answer is no. Now leave.”

He was probably no less than a small leaf in the forest that Mingyu’s life was.
