He knows Wilson finally has a true chance to get his dream of a perfect white picket fence family, and as much as he is a dick, he also knows that trying to stop this will most likely end with House losing him as a friend completely.
He doesn’t need to look at Wilson to know that he understood what House was trying to say. He knows Wilson can see through this facade and recognise the sacrifices he is making."
