Summary
Christine married Raoul. But she never stopped loving Erik. Neither did Raoul.
Years later, the three of them are still entangled: a marriage, a ménage, a love like a pact signed in blood – and a home like a gilded cage. With three children and a past shadowed by the Opera Ghost, they’ve built a life together under Erik's wing.
But every pact has its price. And as Erik’s grip tightens, Christine and Raoul begin to strain against the confines of his love. Though they still love him, they know they must escape.
And so begins a dangerous game of cat and mouse. The cards are on the table. And Erik always plays to win.
The hand about his neck drew him in close, and Raoul winced as a soft kiss was pressed to his forehead.
Erik’s voice came low and tender. ‘Just a misunderstanding, little one. Nothing we can’t clear up.’Bookmarked by aondaneedles

Summary
“These violent delights have violent ends/And in their triumph die, like fire and powder.” - Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene 6
After a whirlwind courtship, Christine de Castelot-Barbezac is shattered by the shocking and unexplained death of her husband. As the only witness to his murder, she must discover what happened and why. But as she submits to hypnotism to try and recall that night, she begins to recollect other moments from her marriage that had somehow been buried, and starts having the most unexplainable dreams. Dreams about her husband, calling on her to come to him. To try and piece it all together, she buries herself in his esoteric research and uncovers something surprising.
Not only is it possible that her husband isn’t dead, he might not be human, either.

Summary
The farm house was built by and for a large family. Twelve bedrooms that were on constant rotation, a fully stocked kitchen that fed any and all who came to visit, a well loved porch that held a well loved swing used to watch those on the well loved tire swing in the near by tree.
It was a beacon of warmth, community and of love to the whole village.
But now only two rooms are occupied, and neither occupants have time to swing. Either side of a fiercely locked master bedroom, that no one dares enter, are two brothers in a home for a family but are living as strangers.
With ten beds unaccounted for, in rooms that hold ghosts of what once was, Derek can choose any to start his new life. Well, except the master room of course... or any too close to his new (incredibly attractive) boss... or above him either.
Curiously, no matter what bed he is in, a soft strum of music makes its way to his ears, like an old lullaby seldom sung but reserved for him.

Inspired by that one post with inverted fanfic tropes this is 'too many beds', a twist on 'there was only one bed'. Was originally titled 'Too Many Beds' but I got too sentimental with it.
