Recognition prickles at the back of his mind, gaze roving over the man’s face as he analyzes the thick, dark brows that are slightly drawn together in concentration. He thinks he might spot a piercing in his right brow, which triggers a distant memory.
Though, it’s not until the drummer smiles at his lead singer — a dimple showing in each cheek — that Oikawa finally recognizes him.

Steve popped his head out from behind the curtain and turned to see Eddie swinging a pair of black fuzzy handcuffs around one finger with a grin painted across his face. Steve walked towards the iPad, collecting the cuffs from Eddie, his hand brushing against one of the many rings that adorned Eddie’s fingers. He scanned them, pushing the card machine towards Eddie, who quickly tapped his card. Steve nodded before picking up a bag and going to place the cuffs inside it, but he was stopped by Eddie’s hand wrapping around his wrist. “Oh no, Stevie,” Eddie grinned, “Those ones are for you. Gotta start with the basics.”
Steve froze as he processed Eddie’s words. They were for him. Needed to start with the basics.
