Summary
Here’s a story for Christmas (to which I am late), which came about mostly because I wanted to put a couple of people into a clichéd situation, and then I had to do leadup and aftermath… anyway, it’s set in a not-entirely-canonical season 4, in which the Warehouse did get brought back and Helena did leave without explanation, BUT Artie doesn’t go full Father Data and Leena doesn’t suffer the consequences—mostly because Mrs. Frederic has sensed some badness to come and thus sent Artie and Leena away. Because why not? Also I have Claudia jumping into Caretakering, and even a bit of Artieing, with some enthusiasm. Enjoy!

Summary
I completely missed the holiday season here (just barely made it with the beginning of a Christmas-y thing on Tumblr), so in penance I offer a piece I’ve been meaning to bring over for some time... it’s not holiday-related, but it was written for the B&W Gift Exchange a few years ago, as a present for Tumblr user mysensitiveside. It’s a rather pointless but, I hope, sweet AU that hinges on a dog. Whose dog? Only two choices, really: he belongs to someone named Myka, perhaps... or maybe to another someone named Helena... in fact, though, the more fundamental question is posed by this story’s title, and that one’s a bit more difficult to answer.

Summary
This holiday season snuck up on me... but here's a one-shot bit of slightly serious, mostly silly Being & Wells holiday nonsense, set in a fantasy timeline in which the Warehouse didn’t explode, Leena didn’t die, and Helena actually managed to face up to, and come to terms with, the fact that she’s head over heels in love with Myka (and vice versa). Not that that would have solved all their problems… it might, in fact, have led to some new ones.

Summary
This is a tale of a somewhat lengthy, somewhat canon-compliant artifact hunt, in which Myka, Helena, and Pete journey to a county fair to investigate some unusual goings-on. They find a lot more than they bargained for: characters, conflict, and (if I’ve done my job right) comedy, too. It’s set in one of those “S4 and S5 never happened except for the part where the Warehouse came back” nirvanas; given that it’s nirvana, Myka and Helena are already a thing. Their thing-ness is of course not without its trials, and as for how well (or poorly) they’ll handle those? We’ll see...

Summary
Here’s a holiday tale, in which we rewind to S4: the Warehouse was restored, thanks to Helena. Let’s say that she did in fact disappear after the events of the S4 premiere, as happened on the show, and the first half of that season played out as depicted. But then let’s say also that Helena came back after fetching and carrying for Mrs. F, with no Boone interregnum (because I am sick to damn death of trying to come up with in-character reasons for that obscenity). Point being, it’s December at the Warehouse. Stuff happens. That stuff monkeywrenches Myka’s Christmas-related plan for letting the somewhat recently returned Helena know how she feels. Do things end happily? Depends on how you feel about slapstick. The working title of this story was “Banana.”
