Summary
For years Vander and Silco have been friends and comrads working towards this goal.
They'd put everything they had into building the lanes, creating a community, and leading the rebellion. All to create a free nation of Zaun. And if in their quieter moments they both sometimes wished they could be something else to each other too, then that would simply have to wait. The cause came first.
The rally on the bridge of progress was supposed to be the first step towards finally achieving those goals and starting a new path for both Zaun and them. But then everything went wrong.
After the battle of the bridge, nothing is ever the same for Vander and Silco.

Summary
His head is pounding.
All he hears is a shrill ringing in his ears. All he sees is a series of colorful explosions happening before his eyes. He's not even sure if his eyes are open or not. Besides the feeling of his heartbeat hitting him like a jackhammer in the head, his body is completely numb. What happened?
Jayce looks around and under some of the rubble he sees strands of dark blue hair spread out across the hallway floor. He sees a hand, with what was once perfectly manicured nails but now covered with scratches and blood. He sees limbs sprawled out in front of him. Limp. Lifeless.
It's Caitlyn, his sprout, his little sister.
Or: In the alternate timeline from s02e07, both Caitlyn and Vi are killed in the explosion. Jayce has to deal with his actions hurting the person he loves most, his sprout.
