Childe scoffed. “A choice set of words, but no, I’m definitely not fucking with you.”
Childe and Lumine’s relationship was… less than friends. At best. But when he walked past Wanmin Restaurant only to catch the scent of an alluring omega as well as a slightly feverish Lumine, he knew that she was in grave danger out in the open.
The fact of the matter was that as a newly presented omega, she needed to relearn just about every social interaction known to man. But as fate may have it, in that process, they grew close. Not only did they spar regularly, but they also helped comfort each other through their cycles. At some point, they were finally comfortable calling each other… friends.
But when Childe is summoned back to Snezhnaya for a time and is forced to leave a defiant Lumine to her own devices, he begins to yearn desperately for his in-heat omega.
