    Lomedy is literally shaking, eyes wide and lips quivering as he stares up at Flame pleadingly. “No, bro! Go fight your own battles. It’s literally your turn to clean the barn. You go do it! It’s just a few spiders.” Flame ignores the fact that he would’ve been just as terrified if he saw those eight legged creatures. Lomedy was not going to make him take care of that spiderweb at all.

    “I’ll give you headpats, bro!”

    Avery Rivers' life had never been interesting; a dead-beat job, a family he had run away from, a crappy apartment which broke constantly.     After he takes in the stranger, who goes by the name 'Dwayne', Avery's life is turned upside down, as he finds himself in the middle of an inter-dimensional plot to destroy his own world, a perhaps more than friends relationship with a complete stranger, and under the threat of a cosmic entity simply known as 'The King' who wants to use him as a vessel of destruction. But to Avery's surprise, Dwayne seems to be on a mission to defeat a so-called King and save Avery himself from a cursed fate, one that he says he's suffered before...
