“I successfully seized the detective. Kindly perform the operation with ease.” Those were the words he heard at the other side of the door. He was sure that the voice was the same with the waiter who assisted him into this very bathroom. Feeling in great agitation, Naib aggressively slammed his closed fists against the thick oak door that made loud thuds. “Let me out, you bastard!”
“I apologize, detective. We’ve assessed that you are a big threat and hindrance to our mission, hence the need to capture and keep you at bay.”
“What are you planning?! Are you with the Abyss as well?!” Naib screamed at the top of his lungs, the overwhelming feeling of anger was slowly eating him up clouding his already tipsy mind. From the other side, he heard the man chuckle as Eli whispered the words.
“Hail the Abyss.”

“I-is it recording?” Eli chimes and peeks over his shoulder, gaze finding the viewfinder.
Naib nods, taking one last look of the lens before walking to the back of the camera. “… One, two… action!”
“Um…” Eli trails off and forces a laugh.
“Never mind! Let’s do a retake!”
The camera cuts to black before finding the same scene, Eli’s gaze piercing through the lens.
“Hello, I’m Eli Clark, twenty-one years old and for me… someone I could call special is Naib Subedar,” a grin shows itself from his words. His gaze shifts from the lens and to the viewfinder.
