Summary

The days pass, time is ticking down. Sanity feels nonexistent, and everything is a mess.
“I have thought long and hard, my friend. And under careful consideration, I have decided you need to leave.” Alastor said. There was no falter in his expression. Husk’s ears turn backward as he scoffs.
“You don’t mean that,” Husk replies, confident. But Alastor’s grin seemed to grow more, and Husk risked a glance at the half-empty bottle of liquor he had set down.---
