Summary
"Moony, take a breath. The plane doesn't leave for four hours. We have plenty of time."
"Yes, but we board at 7:30, which means we need to be there by at least 5:30 because everyone in the state is flying home for the holidays, which means we have to leave the flat by 4:30 because the Christmas traffic plus the evening traffic will make the trip to the airport around an hour, and it's--oh!" Remus lifts his wrist, showing the wristwatch Sirius had gotten him for Christmas last year, now coming back around to bite him in the arse. "4:00."
"Which means we still have thirty minutes!"
Remus gives him an unamused look.
Sirius Black is staying with his boyfriend's parents over the holidays for the first time, James Potter is ready to be back in the warmth of his parents' house for a few weeks again, Lily Evans Potter is preparing herself to go back and forth between her passive-aggressive family and her caring in-laws, Remus Lupin is planning to change his and Sirius' life for the better (that is, if he says yes). The only thing standing in their way is a long day of airports and flying. Easy, right?
