    "Of course I feel it, Ahsoka. I'm not blind to it," Anakin snapped, his voice laced with exasperation. Instinctively, she took a step back, her body colliding with the unyielding wall behind her. His presence loomed over her, his arms rising to cage her in.

    "I have felt you every single second of every single day, since this bond was created," he continued, his words dripping with frustration and intensity.

    Ahsoka's breath hitched in her throat, her heart pounding in her chest, his proximity overwhelmed her. She could feel the heat radiating from his body, his breath ghosting against her lekku. "I'm sorry I hurt you," he whispered, his voice a low growl. "But I’m not sorry for indulging in someone else, when I know I can’t ever have, who I truly want.”
