The cage wasn’t made of wire.
It was made of arms that held him close.
Of whispered words.
Of a kiss that didn’t burn—
but felt like coming home.Because sometimes,
the cage we feared the most
turns out to be the warmest home. -

Summary
Hermes was drunk. Really drunk. The kind of drunk where thoughts tangled together and actions didn’t always make sense.
But gods, the way he was leaning in now, lips parted, breath warm against Dionysus’s mouth—He didn’t know what he was doing.
Dionysus did.So when Hermes’s lips brushed his, soft and fleeting and desperate for something he wouldn’t even remember in the morning,
He could stop this. He probably should. But where was the fun in that?

Summary
"One sip..." He leans closer, his voice dropping to a whisper "...just one sip, and I'll show you why mere mortals worship me." His hand hovers over Hermes' arm, lingering slightly too long. Dionysus blinks in disbelief as Hermes gulps down the wine without hesitation. He shakes his head, chuckling. "Well, that was certainly enthusiastic!" He leans back, a smirk playing at his lips. "And now, the show begins..."
