Summary
During the Halloween party at Françoise Dupont High School, Marinette shows up dressed as a dark fairy, while Lila appears as an elegant vampire. The two remain enemies—Marinette knows that Lila is Chrysalis, and Lila knows that Marinette is Ladybug—but the tension between them begins to go beyond mere rivalry.
Inspired by “I Put a Spell on You,” the story follows a dangerous relationship of obsession, desire, and masks, where the true “spell” isn’t magical: it’s Marinette and Lila’s inability to stay away from each other, even though they know they’re still on opposite sides.

On the eve of Christmas, after months of being missing, Chrysalis returns with an unexpected proposal: to abandon the Butterfly Miraculous and leave Paris behind. Before leaving, however, she makes one last request of Ladybug—that, for the first time, they meet without their masks.
What Marinette discovers that night changes everything she thought she knew about her greatest enemy. And, amidst revealed secrets, impossible feelings, and a farewell at the Eiffel Tower, Marinette will have to decide if some people should be prevented from leaving... or if loving someone also means letting them go.
