Summary
Ardelia Mapp refuses to let Clarice Starling simply disappear for the second time in the past six months, so she goes to find Clarice on her own, even if the FBI is no longer backing her up. While Clarice and Hannibal begin their lives together, with twists and turns of past horrors and romance.
Up until Ardelia Mapp receives a phone call from Jack Crawford, which brings her back to the US and just as Ardelia finds out the horrifying news, on one of many of Dr Lecter's visits to the FBI website our handsome couple too finds out the same news.

Summary
Set five years after SOTL. Clarice Starling is sent to interview yet another serial killer, just outside of the Badlands, SD. The murders were thought to be solved just three years prior, or they were solved, until new victims began to be taken, and the killer, Elias Jones, started asking for Clarice. She's paired with Richard Peck, an agent on the previous murders, quickly they realize the case is not all it seems to be... but will they be too late to realize just what they're walking into?
Hannibal Lecter is enjoying his freedom with a vacation in Monaco, trying not to think of FBI Special Agent Clarice Starling.

Until a strange phone call from a strange phone in the gust room rings and she's snared into one of Dr Lecter's games, taking her away from their rental home and out into the beautiful Italian morning.
