    Julian might have dismissed me as his apprentice in an effort to protect me from the Red Plague, but I refused to leave Vesuvia, secretly helping at the clinic without his knowledge. As the Heartsong Festival approaches, though it won't be celebrated in the normal way, I have to decide whether I should give him the gift I've already bought him, and see where that may lead.

    Obviously parts 1-5 of the series should be read first.

    For this one, I've written three versions for three flavours; female, male or neutral MCs. The story is exactly the same in each.
    It's in the nature of a 1st person POV that there are no pronouns anyway, and none of the MC versions have any identifying features or descriptors. The ONLY difference is in the NSFW scenes.

    Chapter 1: Gender Neutral
    Chapter 2: Female
    Chapter 3: Male

    Pick your preference.

    Also, we're in full "I have no idea anymore if this is consistent with canon and I no longer care" territory.
