Summary
Chuuya suffers from painful aftereffects of Corruption. Dazai suffers from existential depression.
Chuuya has a god in him that wants to kill his body. Dazai has a mind that wants to kill itself.
Chuuya is dying. Dazai wants to die.
Chuuya wants to make Dazai feel alive. Dazai wants to keep Chuuya alive.
They both try to take care of each other the best they can, bringing them closer.
Until Dazai leaves.
That's when it all goes wrong.

Summary
A growing part of Tecchou wants to push Jouno away and tell him to simply leave him to die.
Jouno would be much better off finishing this mission without him. Their target is dead, after all, and Tecchou’s injury is only prolonging this disaster. He’s dead weight. He’s another corpse that Jouno shouldn’t bother carrying home.
Or:
Tecchou gets severely injured during a mission. He’s afraid he won’t make it back this time but Jouno refuses to let him die.
