“A demonstration?” Jon asks, and the words come out very level, very careful. He’s still frozen in the same position, like he’s afraid he might spook off a bird that’s miraculously landed on him by moving.
Tim opens his mouth to reply, but only manages it on the second try.
“Yeah,” he says. “Hands on, you know. Let you get to see the thing for yourself.”
“And you would be tying up…” Jon says, trailing off into a silence that begs to be filled, answered.
“You,” Tim confirms, and he thinks he sees Jon shiver as he says it. “I couldn’t-- can’t tie myself up, after all.”
“But I can’t-- I don’t do that,” Jon says, as if remembering himself. He almost sounds disappointed. “I don’t-- I don’t enjoy sex. I’m very certain of that much, I made sure. I can’t--”
“Who said anything about sex?”

By the time Jon spots the white delivery van, it’s much too late.
The Stranger kidnaps Jon. Tim comes along for the ride.

“Why is it always you, Naruto?” Kakashi asks, pen flicking over the paper in front of him.
“Must be because I’m so awesome,” Naruto tells him feebly as he practically liquifies against Kakashi’s side, knees hitting the floor and forehead resting against the outside of Kakashi’s thigh.
“Must be,” Kakashi agrees, a hand reaching down to ruffle Naruto’s hair before he turns back to his work.
But, more importantly than anything else, Kakashi doesn’t tell Naruto to leave. Doesn’t seem even the slightest bit displeased with having another alpha, especially one like Naruto, so far into his personal space.
That small bit of absolute acceptance makes a part of Naruto want to sit up and purr just like it always does.
Makes something inside of him shine just a bit brighter.

Summary
Whenever the topic of babies and families comes up, it’s just one of those conversations he’s still regularly excluded from. Not out of any real intent to be hateful, but more because everyone else is always so certain that they already know what his opinion on the subject is going to be.
Because, no matter how much has changed, some part of Naruto will, apparently, always be that same loud, rough idiot he used to be in the heads and hearts of the people he loves.
It stings a little, Naruto’s willing to admit that to himself and Kurama, but he doesn’t focus on it, doesn’t bother to muster up the energy to complain about it.
It’s a small hurt after all and he has far fewer of those to deal with these days than he used to.
Still, with all of that taken into account, it’s perfectly understandable in Naruto’s opinion that he goes a little bit insane when Sakura gets pregnant.
