Summary
“Why not just put a cap on the whole experience and ask Thrawn if you can sit on his lap at the Chimaera’s weapons console and fire a turbolaser as a Name Day present while you’re at it?”
A short story about just that.
Chapter 1 is written in such a way that it can be read as a completed/finished romantic one-shot/arc, nothing explicit, all fluff and feelings for anyone wanting that. Can just read that and move on.

Summary
As the Empire’s lead xenobiologist stationed on Scarif, you report directly to Grand Admiral Thrawn. When a cryptic directive arrives to check for irregularities beneath the seemingly pristine ocean waters of your own research hub, you begin to follow an uncomfortable trail of political infighting and indifference to aliens and ecological stability that even Thrawn appears quietly complicit in.
Continuation of Pressure Points but it is NOT necessary to read that story to jump into this one.
Will have three arcs/parts
1. (Don’t) Let the Wookiee Win (x): A Wookiee freedom fighter challenges you and Thrawn to a very important game of Dejarik
2. Plunder and Lightning: ():Missing tibanna exports overlap with an environmental crisis that sends you sleuthing across Bespin with Thrawn.
3. The Force is weird: () -

It was supposed to be an ordinary Imperial day.
But as the hours pass, something festers beneath the surface of the Chimaera, and Thrawn soon learns that nothing spreads faster than superstition. Except, perhaps, the quiet unraveling of his own mind.
