Summary
Now, Kisaki was stuck in a room alone with Draken, a man he had a weird on-and-off again crush on for years. Kisaki spent many of his formative years watching from afar—content to be on the sidelines—but he found his gaze being drawn to Draken every time. During meetings—as he took charge as Mikey's vice commander, in the middle of brawls—his eyes wild and dangerous as he cracked skulls open and splattered blood everywhere like an angel of death, during casual gang hangouts—where Draken easily assuaged Mikey's whims and made the others laugh. [...] There was a lot to admire about the man, but Kisaki didn't do feelings. He found himself resentful of the way Draken made him feel, and he did his best to squash it, instead throw cruel jabs and mocking comments the man's way, in hopes that the reciprocal cruelty would pierce through his feelings like a blade and finally burst them open like a water balloon to spill everywhere and eventually dissipate.
Kisaki meets Draken at the brothel in his old room to discuss some business. Questions are asked, feelings are realized, and things escalate—very quickly.
