Metropolis has been abjectly miserable for the past two years, no one for Lena to turn to with her problems or anxieties. The closest thing she’s had to a friend has been her favorite Chinese place’s delivery drivers.

Summary
Kara really likes to touch Lena.
Which, if interpreted to be filthy, Kara would blush bright red all the way to the tips of her ears and swat her hand and scoff and insist, “That’s not what I mean!” And that would have been true at the time (note: at the time).
Well, upon examination, Kara realizes that maybe it isn’t so much the actual touching but the reaction that her touch draws out of Lena. That bright, filled-with-sunshine smile that shows off Lena’s pretty dimples. The one that makes Kara kind of want to melt into a puddle or burrow into the ground like a fucking mole.
Not that Kara has anything against moles, because that would be ridiculous. But the point. The point: Kara really likes to touch Lena. The beginning of her downfall.
