Osamu tapped his chopsticks against the table, choosing his words carefully. “Let’s say hypothetically,” he began, “ya have a non-demi curious semi-binary relationship and ya might be getting a tineeny tiny attachment. What would ya do? I’m askin’ for a friend."
Ginjima blinked. “A what?"
"A non-demi curious semi-binary relationship."
“So a situationship?”
“Semantics.”
"And yer getting attached?" Ginjima narrowed his eyes. “Why are ya askin’? Are ya dating?”
“What? No. I literally said I’m askin’ for a friend.”
Situationships wasn’t supposed to be complicated. But with Suna Rintarou, everything is. And somehow, Osamu doesn’t hate it.

“No.” Suna waves his hand, gesturing to the floor. “Beg properly.”
This man, his best friend, is going to be the death of him, Osamu thinks as realization dawns on him. Suna wants him to get on his knees and beg for it as desperately as he would beg any God for a miracle. And Osamu isn’t a believer, but Suna—Suna, he would worship. To him, he would pray, beg, do anything he wanted him to.

Alternatively, Osamu didn't think that shotgunning his best friend would be this hot. Maybe. Or maybe he always knew how it would end and did it anyway.

“You’re the guy that has a twin, right? Miya?” Suna guesses, an amused glint in his eyes.
Osamu nods as he toes the dirt beneath his feet.
“Yeah, but call me Osamu.”
“Then can I just say you’re real pretty, Osamu?” Suna’s lips tip up at the corners, and Osamu feels his stomach flutter almost violently as his cheeks flush with color.
“Ya can if yer okay with bein’ wrong,” Osamu says.
Or Osamu tries to deal with the fast approaching future and distracts himself with one Suna Rintarou.
