Summary
After an unsuccessful suicide attempt, Dallon is placed in a holding cell as a temporary means of keeping him safe. There he meets an overly eccentric, far too confident man with a fashion sense straight out of 2005 and a personality that makes Dallon's brain pound against his skull. Oddly enough, though, he finds his fate entangled with this man's, and he can't rip himself away no matter how hard he tries.

Feeling his gaze, the guy turned to him, smirking slightly in a crooked, awkward manner. His glasses reflected the nauseating fluorescent lights in the cell back at Dallon. “Damn dude, you look like you want to kill yourself.” He remarked, amused. “So what’re you in for?”
“Um,” Dallon turned away, staring hard at his hands. He swallowed, “I tried to kill myself.”

Summary
Dallon had never really been good with relationships. He was always too fast and haphazard; too willing to trust and too hungry to fall in love. As a result, he tended to get hurt often, always suffering at the hands of someone that he very well saw himself spending the rest of his life with. So when it happened, really, Dallon shouldn’t have been surprised. He should have understood that this relationship was simply following the pattern set out by the last, and the one before that, and the one before that.
But he couldn’t help the shock that settled within him as he stared into Brendon’s cold eyes, pleading silently for him to take back his weighted words; for things to go back to being good---or at least what he thought was good. But Brendon wouldn’t; he just wasn’t that kind of person.

In which Brendon breaks Dallon's heart so Dallon gets back at him in the most reckless way he can while Mikey tries to patch him up.
