Summary
Tavlor has lightning in her blood—Astarion would know, he tasted it when he drank from her. While the others see her as a liability, Astarion sees an opportunity to secure protection, a steady food supply, and a chance to reclaim the power that was taken for him. With his freedom on the line, Astarion will do almost anything to keep Tavlor under his influence, except of course, fall in love with her for real.

Summary
This is my attempt at a novelization of the Out of the Abyss Campaign by Wizards of the Coast. Why? I don't know! No one asked for it. Judging by the readership numbers no one wants it...except me. It is my own little mental exercise I feel the need to engage in for some reason. Spoilers, obviously. If you are planning on playing as a player of Out of the Abyss read no further. Note some of the PCs are descendants of Forgotten Realm novel characters for fun and backstory. Note the characters in the tag make brief appearances only (or are just mentioned).
