Diluc quietly puts away the last few wine glasses he had cleaned earlier. Kaeya is about to turn and make his way out, when the other suddenly speaks up again.
“It still is.” Diluc’s curtness can’t hide the slight tremble to his voice.
The two have some fun at Angel's Share; Kaeya's way too chatty about it. -

Summary
With Diluc Ragnvindr at a distance comes an uncomfortably close heat, not from the Pyro vision user himself, but hot blood rising up to Kaeya’s cheeks. A warning sign that is acknowledged, considered, then quickly dismissed. It’s been four years. At this point, he has no problem with possibly making the same mistake twice.
Diluc returns to Mondstadt, and Kaeya encounters him at Angel's Share for the first time in a long while. -

Without warning, Kaeya stabs into a strawberry with his sword, leaning back on his throne. Raising the fruit to his mouth, he delicately presses his lips against it, making sure Diluc’s gaze follows his every move before harshly biting down. Juice runs down his chin, but Kaeya pays no mind to it while inspecting the fruit.
“Refreshing.” He peers at Diluc and notices he’s even flusher than earlier as he nods politely.
“I’m glad they are to your liking, your h-"
“Say, little red, would you like a taste?”
A young phoenix dressed in black brings an offering: the freshest of strawberries, fit for a prince. -

Summary
Fog on windshield glass, and Kaeya’s presence is a warm bed inviting Diluc to sleep in for the day. He wishes he could, and for a moment, imagines that they both do.
Diluc doesn't hate Christmas. He's just not feeling the holiday spirit, that's all.
