Summary
The heat of Rafayel’s body presses in on her. The edge of his dagger’s poised like a wire across her throat. It isn’t exactly how she’d choose to start her first real conversation with her former subordinate-cum-roommate-cum-lover-cum-sexually-charged-nemesis-cum-hostage, but she’s left with no other choice but to make do.
