“Oi, Deku!” Katsuki calls after him.
Izuku turns and Katsuki’s breath catches, his eyes meeting vibrant emerald ones, “After this race, no matter the outcome, meet me at Tony’s Diner.”
Izuku’s blinding smile lights up his face. He nods his assent. “Okay Kacchan, but if I win you owe me a strawberry shake!” he calls, turning around to continue back to his garage.
After the race, Katsuki waits at a booth in the quiet diner for hours. The condensation from Izuku's strawberry shake drips down the side of the glass. He keeps waiting, even though he knows Izuku won’t show.

Or, It’s been 6 years since Katsuki has last seen Izuku, but when Izuku is signed as his race engineer, they’re forced to find a way to work together. Along the way, goals become tangled, tensions rise, and feelings get involved.
