In fact, Myungho's observation (which was, by all means, hilariously incorrect) would’ve slipped Seokmin’s mind easily. But something about Myungho's determination to make Seokmin believe that he is spoiled remains rooted in his brain.
He’s not trying to prove anything to anyone, but he knows that hypothesis must be tested. Or whatever. He was mostly asleep during the discussion on scientific methods back in high school.
And so, Seokmin sets out on a mission to test Myungho's laughable hypothesis.
