Jean Grey was in disbelief. Just a week ago, she was breathing for Peter Parker as he was lying in the hospital bed, unconscious. But now it's late 2015. The time before she met Spider-Man. Before her sister Sara was captured by Damage Control. Before the Avengers defeated Thanos. Before the Snap.
Jean felt a sudden urge to check something. She opened a search engine and typed Peter Parker's name into it.
It showed results. His Instagram page, his Facebook account. A photo of him and his aunt at the entrance ceremony to Midtown High.
Jean understood then that she had returned to a time before the spell.
She looked at the calendar again — it was December of 2015.
"...I'm not too late to apply for Midtown High, am I?"

Summary
If you were told as a kid that you will become a Shinobi when you grow older, what skill would you wish for? A power to overcome every foe in your way? An impenetrable defense to never get hurt by your adversaries? Or perhaps a silver tongue to get your way in every possible situation? A young boy named Saku too craved ultimate power. Instead, he was born with the power to turn invisible, a gift he considered to be underwhelming.
However, this same skill allowed Saku to be the sole survivor of his family during the First Shinobi War, changing his mind on the usefulness of this ability. In a world where the powerful could get assassinated in their sleep, where walking fortresses could be sealed and chained, where eloquent may not slip a single word before being beheaded, what could be better than being able to disappear as easily as one breathes? Now, in the eyes of Saku, invisibility equals invincibility.
A war-torn boy finds his way to Konoha, a village that, while not completely peaceful, provides walls that protect him, people that welcome him and means to become a Shinobi. Now, it is Saku’s wish to secure the peace he now possesses.
